  • encourage high-quality submissions within their areas of expertise;
  • identify relevant emerging topics and possible thematic collections;
  • maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and editorial communications;
  • disclose conflicts of interest and abstain from decisions when appropriate;
  • periodically verify and update their academic title, affiliation, institutional profile, and ORCID iD.

Editorial Board membership does not guarantee publication and does not confer preferential treatment on manuscripts submitted by editors or Board members.
