Advances in Medicine, Psychology, and Public Health (AMPPH) is an international, peer-reviewed, English-language, diamond open-access scientific journal established in 2024.
AMPPH is owned and published by the International Network for the Advancement of Medicine, Psychology, and Public Health (INAMPPH), an independent scientific network based in Milan, Italy.
The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for the publication and international dissemination of rigorous, ethically conducted, and socially relevant research in medicine, psychology, public health, occupational and environmental health, healthcare, health policy, and related disciplines.

The mission of AMPPH is to advance knowledge at the intersection of medicine, psychology, and public health by publishing research that is scientifically sound, methodologically rigorous, ethically responsible, and relevant to contemporary health challenges.

Medicine
AMPPH publishes research concerning prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, patient safety, clinical practice, healthcare quality, chronic and communicable diseases, digital health, translational research, and multidisciplinary care.
Psychology
The journal welcomes research in clinical and health psychology, mental health, behavioral medicine, psychological assessment and intervention, stress, coping, resilience, quality of life, health behavior, and psychosocial determinants of health.
Public Health
AMPPH covers epidemiology, prevention, health promotion, global health, social determinants of health, health inequalities, occupational and environmental health, health policy, healthcare systems, health education, and population-based interventions.

Our Commitment to Scientific Quality

AMPPH is committed to maintaining high standards of scientific and editorial quality.
Submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their consistency with the journal’s aims and scope, originality, methodological quality, ethical acceptability, clarity, and scientific relevance.
Manuscripts considered suitable for further evaluation are normally assessed through a double-anonymous peer-review process by independent experts in the relevant field. The final decision concerning publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief or a formally delegated editor.

Editorial decisions are based exclusively on:
scientific quality;
methodological rigor;
originality;
ethical compliance;
clarity and transparency of reporting;
relevance to the journal’s readership;
contribution to the relevant field.
Authors’ nationality, gender, ethnicity, religion, political views, institutional affiliation, geographical origin, professional status, or ability to pay do not influence editorial decisions.

Editorial Independence

AMPPH maintains a clear distinction between editorial decision-making and the institutional, financial, promotional, or organizational activities of its publisher.
The Editor-in-Chief has full authority over the journal’s scientific and editorial content. The publisher, sponsors, partners, advertisers, donors, and other external parties cannot influence:
the selection of manuscripts;
the appointment of reviewers;
peer-review reports;
editorial decisions;
the interpretation or presentation of research findings;
decisions concerning corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions.
Manuscripts submitted by editors, Editorial Board members, publisher representatives, or individuals closely associated with the journal are managed independently. The submitting individual does not participate in reviewer selection, peer review, or the final editorial decision.

Diamond Open Access

AMPPH is a diamond open-access journal.
All published articles are made immediately and permanently available online without subscription fees, registration requirements, or access charges.
The journal does not charge authors:
submission fees;
article processing charges;
page charges;
colour charges;
publication fees;
mandatory language-editing fees.
The absence of publication charges has no influence on editorial selection. No author, editor, reviewer, sponsor, member, or institution can purchase or otherwise influence an editorial decision.
AMPPH believes that scientific knowledge should be accessible to researchers, professionals, students, policymakers, and members of the public regardless of their geographical location or financial resources.
